D.L.H. Autorecyclers operate a full End of Life Vehicle disposal and recycling system. Under European Directives, all vehicle manufacturers are required to take responsibility for ELV's from 2007 in order to meet a target of 85% recycling of vehicles by weight to reduce the amount going into landfill. D. L. H. are commited to follow the recycling mantra: Reduce - Reuse - Recycle. At DLH we have created new yard at the current premises to deal with this issue. We have worked with the local authorites and vehicle manufactures and invested in facilities to provide an ELV processing unit. We will ensure that we are involved in any tenders that concern the disposal of ELV though the approved directives, and ammended waste regulations.
